Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Jeremiah 17:7 KJV

When you confidently trust the Lord, He will compass you about with mercy and with loving-kindness:

Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on the Lord shall be compassed about with mercy and with loving-kindness. Psalms 32:10 AMP

When you trust God, He will keep you in perfect peace:

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3 NKJV

In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust.

Psalms 4:8 AMP

Trusting God results in enjoyment of all temporal and spiritual blessings:

When you cry out, Let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind will carry them all away, A breath will take them. But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land, And shall inherit My holy mountain.

Isaiah 57:13 NKJV

Those who trust in the Lord are happy that they did:

He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.

Proverbs 16:20 NKJV

Those who trust God can shout for joy and rejoice:

But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits. Psalms 5:11 AMP

Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. 21 For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name.

Psalms 33:20-21 NKJV

Trust in God and He will show Himself faithful – He will fulfill all His promises:

Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. Psalms 37:3-5 NKJV

Those who trust God are delivered from their enemies:

Show Your marvelous loving-kindness, O You Who save by Your right hand those who trust and take refuge in You from those who rise up against them. Psalms 17:7 AMP

And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him.

Psalms 37:40 NKJV

The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower. 3 I will call upon the Lord, Who is to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.

Psalms 18:2-3 AMP

Whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe:

The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. Proverbs 29:25 NKJV

Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men! 20 You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence From the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion From the strife of tongues.

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6 NKJV

Psalms 118:8-9 NKJV

WHAT IS CELEBRATE AMERICA?

Drs. Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne, with Revival Ministries International, are looking forward to Celebrate America just as they did in the summer of 1999 when, for six weeks consecutively, they rented Madison Square Garden, the world’s most famous arena, for Good News New York!

Drs. Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne are inviting local churches, the community, and members of government, in which many of them will be sharing their faith, and all nationalities to be a part of Celebrate America. We are celebrating America as she turns 238 years old. During Celebrate America, we will commemorate the Declaration of Independence and what the Constitution of the United States has meant to this land. We will celebrate the heritage of America and our Founding Fathers who acknowledged “firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence.” We will remember The Great Spiritual Awakenings of this land, the impact of which they made, and The Great Awakening that is soon to come. Celebrate America.

Dear Friends,

Drs. Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne invite you to join them for Celebrate America this July in Washington D.C. at the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Constitution Hall. Just as we looked forward to Good News New York in the summer of 1999 at Madison Square Garden, we are looking forward to this event.

Local churches, the community, members of government (many of whom will be sharing their faith), all Americans, and anyone, from any nation, who loves America, are invited to be a part of Celebrate America. We are celebrating America as she turns 238 years old. During these 14 days of Celebrate America, we will commemorate the United States Declaration of Independence and what the Constitution of the United States has meant to this land. We will celebrate the heritage of America and our Founding Fathers who acknowledged “firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence.” We will remember the Great Spiritual Awakenings of this land, the impact they made, and The Great Awakening that is soon to come.

Pastors, leaders, church groups, youth groups, and all believers, all around America, we ask you to begin praying for America, her leaders, and for Celebrate America. And we also encourage you to make plans to join us and to be a part of this very timely event.

The evening meetings are at 7 PM; admission is free. In the mornings, Power Evangelism will take place at 10 AM. Call, email, Facebook, and Tweet your friends and family to attend and to get involved; volunteers are needed. Sign up today.

I know God has called me here to be prepared, equipped and to be used by Him.  I have to be ready and expect change to come because change is part of life.

I’ve learned to constantly keep my heart open and to grow everyday in the things of God.  I have learned to deal with unmet expectations by keeping my eyes on the Lord at all times.  If I don’t I will get in the flesh and that will affect my attitude.

I  used to let little things really bother me but now instead of holding on to them for a long time, I’ve learned to quickly give it to the Lord, because his timing is perfect.  This is how much the Lord had changed me because in the past, if I expected something or it was promised to me and didn’t happen I would get very offended and hurt for a long time but not anymore thank God!!

Choosing internship was the best decision I could have ever made.  Each year I find myself with a greater desire and longing to know the plan and purpose that God has for my life. The Holy Spirit is revealing to me that God desires a closer walk and relationship with Him.  It’s always important to find a few minutes during the day just to spend quiet time with God.  Internship is about a lot of things:  letting God do what He needs to do in and through me, allowing God to burn out anything that is not of Him, learning how to die to my flesh in all areas, become willing and obedient to immediately follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit, and most importantly to focus on the direction God is leading me.  I believe this is going to be the best year yet.  I’m so excited to be here at The River Bible Institute.
